Prayer for Salvation
“The main thing is to keep hold of the main thing.”
The Chruch in London it here to enable people to hear the positive news of the Gospel and bring God’s love to people in meaningful ways, but ultimately it is a medium that God uses to bring His message of salvation to London.
We want to see lives changed, communities restored and people discovering a new life in God made possible by the transforming power of the Gospel.
We have been covering the different areas of London life over the past few weeks to “prepare a way for the Lord” (cf. Isa 40). This is important, but don’t lose sight of the main thing – we want to see London saved.
Key Scriptures
Isa 12:2-6 Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation." With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation….
Psa 85:4-7 Restore us, O God of our salvation, And cause Your anger toward us to cease. Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger to all generations? Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your mercy, LORD, And grant us Your salvation.
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
Rev 7:10 "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!"
