Graduate trainees in the City
A typical stereotype of a school-leaver or graduate coming into the City as a trainee Trader or Broker is of someone wanting to fit in and to be a team player. There is immense pressure to spend more and debts quickly mount. It is a high stress job in which it is hard to be a Christian.
An existentialism prevails where ‘if it feels good, do it’. Morals are relative and God is seen as irrelevant! The common lifestyle includes cocaine, late night drinking, and frequenting lap-dancing clubs.
There is no worship of God and interest in the occult is high. Feng shui ‘experts’ arrange office premises, people consult mediums, have tarot card readings, and others are invited to join Freemasonry.

Prayer points.

Pray for strength and protection for young people in the City to withstand all temptation and pressure to conform to an un-Godly lifestyle.

Pray that Christians in the City would connect with and support these young people coming into the City.

Pray that young people would come out of debt quickly and learn to be wise with their money.

Pray protection and for a holiness over their future marriages and that they would not get into wrong relationships.

Pray protection for women against having their drinks spiked with drugs and raped. Pray that there will be tighter vigilance in bars and nightclubs.

Pray for a passion and a hunger for God that would be stirring in them every waking and sleeping moment of their lives and that they would not be able to ignore God or His call to them.

Praise God for his mandate for this army of young people in the City and that this mandate will be fulfilled according to His will. Declare Freedom over this generation.
