Increased Prayer

Quality comes from right relationship, with Jesus, and then also with each other. Right relationship means Gal 5:22-26 and similar scriptures, a true integrity in relationship. Amongst many benefits it confers peace, enables accountability, brings the ability to hear accurately, to be interdependent as God intended us to be and last, but definitely not least it gives authority through relational unity.

With God quantity always flows from quality. We most not reverse the order lest we manipulate to achieve greater things with human effort where God would accomplish the impossible by His grace.

Prayer points.

• For everyone, but especially those in leadership positions to lay down agendas, and even 'callings' so that God can speak new words about as yet unseen & even unimaginable things to ears ready to hear anew.
• To truly allow the old to die in our hearts and particularly in mindsets (established ways of understanding how things should/could be).
• To gain afresh Father’s heart of compassion.
• Be prepared to personally be a demonstration of whatever God is doing. (This somewhat adds a sense of commitment and focus to praying!)
• To begin to make space for the new of God. This may be a re-positioning in terms of work, time, financially, and in capacity for new relationships.
• For unity, not just between people attending prayer events or joined in a programme or project, but as a real living quality of the body of Christ, evidenced in my personal walk with Christ, in local congregations and across the wider body of Christ in London. Real authority to direct the course of this city will only be dispensed to those actually united in Christ.
• To focus on quality first and trusting God for His ways of increase in prayer
• Don't just simply copy methods for increase of quantity of prayer used elsewhere (even if successful!). Hear God for your own situation and do exactly what He says.
• Ask God for an ability to see the unseen workings and strategies of God, to see the 'harvest' as more than a quantative exercise in reaping souls.
